Tales of Land and Sea - Concept Story

For the second half of the mermay challenge, I decided to develop a story about a merboy falling in love with a human girl, and how their friendship developed into something more through the years.

I paired each illustration with a small text and dialogue in the description; to complement the story's theme, I asociated a song with each piece in my IG stories, compiled in a highlight on my profile.

I fell in love with these characters, so I'm currently developing the backstory, lore, and storyline to eventually serialize their story into a webcomic.
